YES, THEY COULD ALL BE WRONG [FRIDAY FIRE 90]

Well, if you follow our teachings on the sin of stonewalling, you’ll know that the favorite  strategy of a stonewaller against your truth is to attack, attack, attack…

Here’s one you may have heard from them over the years. It goes something like this:

“Well, Marc, could everybody else be wrong?”

Meaning, of course, that they see truth as being determined by a vote – the more people who vote for their opinion, the more true it must be. And, they also never use the holy Word to build a convincing argument from the doctrines of God. They may pluck one or two texts out of context to ‘prove’ their point, i.e. “proof text.”

Of course, this is all nonsense, for even Jesus had but a few followers at the height of His human popularity. And…He’s God, the True Truth. Plus, He used the Word…since He is the Word. Beware so-called believers who have this very low view of holy scripture.

For instance, in a room of 10 western and affluent average believers, you’ll most likely find 9.999 of them would kill their enemy…not love them…for the sake of keeping their place and position. Are they believing right and then persecute you for your Jesus doctrine right out of His Word?

Another popular heresy these days is the demonic concept of not meeting with those who rebuke them due to sin. These so-called believers stand apart from the clarion call to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4). They then also practice the deadly sin of being irreconcilable. They seem to refuse the fact that this leads them and others to the lake of fire in the end. Perhaps these are the tares Jesus Christ warned us about in His Gospels.

The apostle Paul in his last letter lamented at the very end of his earthly service that he was virtually alone.

At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; may it not be counted against them.

Paul was God’s man and had most of his truth right from direct revelation. The others he knew deserted his God ordained truth at that time. Yes, they were wrong.

All of them.

So, take heart, dear one. Be absolutely certain it squares with the King…and you’re in the Spirit before making the stand. But…yes…they all could be wrong.

They frequently are.

And when you’ve done everything to stand, stand.

“Our Lord God, we’re so humbled to see Your work through our brother Paul and to read his encouraging words of Your help: ‘But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth. The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.’ Yes…glory and amen. Forever and ever, Your kingdom come.”
