In these trying times and escalating persecution in the world, especially the west, it’s a good point to keep oneself healthy for the spiritual battle. Of course, some of the brethren are imprisoned, beaten, stared, tortured, and murdered.
We see in God’s Word after the 5th seal is broken those who are martyred during The Great Tribulation crying out to God for vengeance and retribution.
Revelation 6:9-11 When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained;
and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
What does all this have to do with health, you might say? We want to take care of our bodies for Him, but we must understand that more vital things are underway in His Kingdom.
We can easily in an affluent culture like the west spend too much on health care and idolize our bodies. Meanwhile, the brethren worldwide need our money for basic necessities like food and shelter. So, we in affluent areas must be extremely discerning and wise in how far we proceed with health care.
Also, we must realize that God Himself sometimes sends or allows illness to disciple and chastise us. Even the apostle Paul experienced this in his obedient life to keep him humble.
OK, now. Where do we start?
Detoxification
