False teaching and false prophesy is always the #1 problem in the kingdom of God. Our ancient nemesis and arch enemy Satan knows exactly where to strike with his lethal venom against the Lord God’s truth.
In modern times, the Lord Jesus Christ is discipling His leaders who will listen carefully to the Holy Spirit. His goal is to roust out the leaven of the American (and western) gospel and replace is with the Gospel of His Father.
The pure and unadulterated Word is what stands forever in the mind of God. Amen…
Isaiah 40:8
The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.
This chart below is offered to compare and contrast the true Truth for the discerning saint. Be advised that there may be a measure of truth in the American Gospel column at times. But the emphasis is completely wrong and misleading.
2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
We are admonished by our brother the apostle Paul.
Acts 20:26-31 “Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose (counsel) of God. Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for a period of three years I did not cease to admonish each one with tears.
The whole counsel of God, the true Truth, is stunning and startling to the lost pagan, and to those who will not seek the real God Who is, the Majestic Glory, the great I AM and His ways of holiness. Discover why most people resist the truth and the three possible reactions to the truth (stonewalling, slinking, seeking) in this brief video.
We are to admonish each other (shaping the will with warning) for the steadfast retention of being perfectly mature, and growing in grace.
Colossians 1:28-29 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me.
Note once again: there may be a measure of truth in the American Gospel column at times, but the emphasis is completely wrong and misleading. Revised: December 2024
