Most likely, this might be the most important video-audio message you may ever hear in our times.
This may be the most downloaded message off the internet in our day and age. Paris Reidhead had no idea at the time that his message on the extreme humanism of our day would make such as impact.
This was given I believe in 1966 or so at the height of the massive cultural change in the west. Humanism is defined as that life philosophy whereby the chief aim of man is man and his exaltation and comfort.
Personally, dear friends, I have been undone by this message each and every time the Spirit has prompted me to listen. Now I have alarmed my calendar to listen every month…I have so abused the Gospel for humanism and I must stop. Please pray for me and our ministry.
First, we offer a short video summary of seven minutes of the hour long message. Then we offer links to the whole audio podcast, and the pdf download.
May you too be radically changed in your heart for the love of Jesus Christ, and His Father’s Kingdom. Let us all fill up the sufferings of Christ, and stop living for ourselves once and for all.
NOTE: Be sure to listen the the whole audio presentation! It’s magnificent…

So true! Oh that the LORD would raise up voices like this in every nation.

Brother Tom,
Yes indeed…Paris didn’t even recall what he had said so the story goes. The Spirit was hitting the nail on the head…thx so much for writing. Let’s catch up soon by phone.

Lon Garber says
Powerful message, powerfully told, convicting.
marc says
Brother Lon…
Rarely have we heard such a message to us all from the Holy Spirit — I, for one, have fallen into the trap of preaching the humanistic gospel for way too long. No more with God’s help…it reminds me of a letter I received from a cross cultural missionary from America a few years ago…AMERICA’S CHURCH CRITIQUED BY AMERICAN MISSIONARY LEADER [DEAR BRETHREN 8] http://www.walkworthy.org/?p=2642

thanks, sister Jeanette…
John Arthur Moore says
the reasons that he gives for a person to come to Christ can ONLY be understood (for the most part)by someone who has spiritual understanding.
The unregenerated man cannot understand why Christ deserves worship even if we are still going to hell. I don’t think most saints understand that and I don’t see anywhere in Scripture where Father says that.
The Word of God supports “not wanting to go to hell” as a valid reason for “getting saved”. After all, it is hell and damnation that we need to be saved from in the first place.
If a man doesn’t know or think that he is lost and condemned to hell, he thinks he’s ok and has no reason to get involved in what to him would be religion.
I agree with him that “church” as we know it today is permeated with human intellectual ideas. Human interpretation of Scripture and very little revelation from Father’s Spirit.
jesusislord says
Brother John,
Right on with the observation that Hell is a valid reason for salvation…good point. We have solid details on that here: http://www.walkworthy.org/hell

I believe!

Yes, we do…Our Lord was all of us. He is a jealous Father.

Tom says
Thanks for reminding us. That’s a solid message.

Brother Tom,
This is one of those talks that change a life…mine! I was so convicted on my own bent to preach the humanist message that God is here to “do you good” as Paris recounts. Thanks for your valuable comment.

Donna Riley says
Such a timely message. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Our usual way of understanding the gospel is so backwards.
I would like to keep a copy of the transcript, but the link isn’t working for me. Is it just me, or is it something that could be fixed?
Blessings,
Donna
jesusislord says
Amen sister Donna – this is one of the most powerful and convicting of all time in our era…I try to listen to it 3 times a year! Thx for the heads up on the link – it’s now fixed.
