Indeed, all enduring believers will behold Him – our Savior and Lord – on that day. The day for which all other days were made. This may very well be in the top 3 of all time praise songs, and is the signature song of sister Patti. Watch how the other saints all around her marvel at the majesty and awe inspiring lyrics, sung by arguably the best female Christian voice of our time.
Be especially aware of the camera as it often pans Dottie Rambo, the older lady, writer of the song and dressed in black with the bold sweater, as she looks on with appreciation. And shakes her head often in wonder of how sister Patti expresses the song in sign language, let alone her absolutely stellar voice. Dottie died instantly while sleeping in the middle of the night on her travel bus in May 2008 in a tragic highway accident.
It’s all but assured you’ll be on your feet as Patti begins the 2nd verse beginning with the words “the angels.” And probably shed a few tears as well. One day closer to Home, and Him, saints.
