Marty GoetzOur dear brother Marty Goetz, a Messianic Judean (Jew) is a modern day Psalmist of the highest gifting! Introduced to us by a dear sister, he has helped us to love and praise the Lord Jesus Christ in an anointed way. We’ve seen Marty live in Orlando several times, and each occasion is a muse-ical treat.

Praise-Thee-PsalmIn the midst of a fruitful active life, true and abiding Christians will be caught unaware of the majesty and mercy of God at times. He will send us something or someone to jolt our faith forward and upward in Him…if we are prepared and willing.

Such was the time I first heard this song authored by brother Paul. I was moved by the simple lyrics and stirring melody.  We pray you will too this day! For indeed, we are all one day closer to Home and Him!

Who is like Him? Mountains bow down and every ocean roars! Praise our Adonai, the Master-Father, from the rising of the sun, to the end of every day…amen.

Psalm 110:1 The LORD (Yhvh) says to my Lord (Adonai): “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”

GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN – BY CHARLOTTE RICHIE [MUSIC VIDEO TO PRAISE THE LORD 30]

Grief 2Again, we human beings are touched with the death passing of another friend and believer into the full spirit realm to be with God Himself. How do we handle the loss and grief? Certainly, we give it to our Lord, and ask for His abiding comfort (2 Cor. 1).

For others we must exert other effort to bring closure. Such was the case when Vince Gill penned this song in the mid-90’s after several unexpected deaths.

Listen and watch as our sister Charlotte Richie laments this ballad with her rich alto voice. She gets help from Kim Hopper (on her right) and Ladye Love Smith (on her left), who are renowned gospel singers and soloists in their own right. Watch as the homecoming friends on stage embrace the sober reality of our own coming deaths someday soon, the heads shake in acknowledgement, the tears…and the knowing smiles of the victory that He has won. Because of Jesus Christ the King, we will all live forever.

Stay with this at the very end, as Bill Gaither asks the ladies to sing a bit more a cappella – you won’t be disappointed. Go to heaven a-shoutin’…love for the Father…and the Son. Hallelujah. Amen.
