Most people over the eons of time have not been readers of written words. They are oral learners, and communicate through stories exclusively. Presently, of the 7.2 billion human beings on the earth, it’s estimated over 4.5 billion are oral learners. That may be low in this all-consuming electronic age.
In the arrogant and affluent west were many of us live, some call those who read “literate.” This means those who do not or chose to not read are “illiterate.” We beg to differ. These oral learners are non-readers, not illiterate. Many of them are much more kingdom wise for the glory of God than those of the “literate” west!
Now, there are many that chose not to read, but can read. Reading is defined as consuming printed and/or electronic content such as a book, magazine, and/or newspaper. Someone exclusively reading a screen for just a post, news, or video are not readers. The majority of young people we know are all oral learners.
Many readers, such as those connected with worldwide orality here, are dedicated to bringing the whole gospel to the whole world. That means the prayerful creation and dissemination of oral content. This is the primary way our Lord Jesus Christ and His first apostles taught.
In service to the kingdom of God our Father, and His Son, the King of kings, and His body, we offer this listing of oral Bible stories developed by many sober minded Christians.
