If anything is important in God’s kingdom, His throne and His activities surrounding it ought to offer us clues into the immeasurable character of the Ancient of Days.
And what does He proclaim that are the foundation of this most holy, sacred place through the psalmist Ethan the Ezrahite?
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne… Psalm 89:14a
If He is these attributes, and we saints are to walk like Him by His powerful guidance, then these too are our attributes. Practicing righteousness and being just in all our behavior is the normal life for a “little Christ,” a Christian.
Oh Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth. Your righteousness and justice is our righteousness and justice, forevermore! Amen.
