A scepter is a staff carried by kings to remind the subjects that he is sovereign. There is none more powerful in the land.
But…the oracle of Balaam declares that a Scepter will arise and both crush and tear down His enemies.
Indeed He will. Jesus Christ, Son of the Most High!
