Joseph, the ordinary man, with his betrothal Mary, the poor woman from Nazareth, certainly had many thoughts. Thoughts like: Why me? Why her? Why Bethlehem?

This touching song details what might have very well gone through his mind and heart. Indeed…a strange way to save the world. Strange, very strange. And holy! Just like our great God.

In July 2006, we spent a month on a prayer trip along the eastern coast of the the USA. When in New York, we spent a Sunday afternoon at the Brooklyn Tabernacle in musical worship! Wonder-full…to say the least. This is a classic song for the Choir, and we love singing along. The words are on the screen for you to do so!

In a very short time, this has become one of my favorite songs. As a grandfather of many, and father of four, I love them “up to the moon.” As you do yours too!

There are few things in our short life on God’s green earth as the joy of raising a child! This is one of those rare soul changing songs that you remember when you heard it the first time. For me, it was in the recent past…as I stopped what I was doing and listened carefully…very carefully.

Through triumph and occasional tragedy, we do love our precious little ones up to the moon! Enjoy, dear one. And have a tissue close by for use. 🙂
