Love is arguably the most powerful emotion and consequent action in the world, and in the universe. It saves human beings from the wrath of God and their sin. It is the tender care of a mother for her babies (1 Thes. 2.7). It is a main fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5.22).
It also is a demonic reason given for launching wars with the attendant slaughter of those human beings made in the image of God.
So what is real, true, and Biblical love? Dare we attempt to explain and give a definition? Yes, we will!
All love originates from Father God and is the emotional affection followed by the action of obeying Him with our whole heart as well as protecting and providing for the Spiritual maturity, Emotional stability, and Physical preservation (SEP) of His kingdom creation.
As His beloved creatures, we saints must obey Him implicitly to prove our love (John 13.35, 14.15, 21). In this we please Him in all respects (Colossians 1.10). It’s the lovely, precious, and costly grace of God that provides the power in all this (Titus 2.11-15).
