Many years ago I received a compilation CD of some popular songs for that year. That day in my van, I was skipping through the songs I didn’t like…until I was faced with the riveting lyrics and melody of this brother’s song about complete worship.

And this version was sung by a sister, not Lenny. But oh, this here is the saint who penned this anointed song. Someday everyone…everyone…will all bow down and declare that He is Lord of all to the glory of His Father.

This is another that may very well bring tears to you eyes.

We will declare Your Name, our dear Lord God! In 2006, we spent a Sunday afternoon at the Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York City singing our heart out for two hours…a little taste of heaven indeed. Nothing quite like 200 voices in the choir raised in harmony to the Great I AM singing to Him directly.

Crank up the volume and get on your feet, saints. Raise your hands in praise and gratefulness. This is a great song to prep for the throne of God itself. Hallelujah! We will tell the world there is no other, but You oh Lord. We will declare Your Name.

I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE – BY JOHN MICHAEL TALBOT [MUSIC VIDEO TO PRAISE THE LORD 59]

Over 25 years ago a dear Christian friend mentioned in passing that John Michael Talbot was probably his favorite Christian musician. I filed it away but it took me two decades to finally listen carefully to his work.

This is without doubt one of the most touching songs ever written. As a long time guitarist, I so appreciate the supreme gift that our dear brother here employs for His kingdom in creating and recording hundreds or original songs!

This song is in my top 3 of John’s and my top 10 of all time. There’s something special and mysterious about singing to the Lord and Him to us. It soothes and heals our troubled souls.

Ignore the two very brief scenes with the high church Catholic overtones, and focus on Him…He is, indeed, the Bread of Life!
