New Amplified Living Translation (NALT): a much deeper understanding of God’s heart and commands in this modern age of rampant heresy; By Marc White, Executive Director, Walk Worthy, Central Florida, USA
All links to the NALT translation immediately follow this introduction.
The New Amplified Living Translation (NALT) is a new paraphrase Bible translation from Walk Worthy ministries combining the elements of amplification, today’s needs, and the literal words of the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts.
We at Walk Worthy in no way suggest that you substitute daily Bible reading and meditation in regular translations such as literal-formal (NASB, NKJV, KJV, ESV) or dynamic equivalent (NIV, GW). Always and forever study to show yourself approved to our great and holy God.

Why would anyone consider another Bible translation with all the plethora of current choices? The simple answer is that we here at Walk Worthy saw a great need for deeper understanding of the heart of God in this modern famine of the true Word.
Having countless resources like today does not ensure Truth. As a matter of fact, it’s terribly confusing as the global elite (New World Order) seeks successfully to further dumb down the populace for eventual complete control. In addition, we know many people who spend their entire lives as church people in church meetings and never obey Jesus Christ in even His basic commands (Mathew 5-7).
Our New Amplified Living Translation (NALT) strives to incorporate both a significantly amplified thought-for-thought and much deeper explanation explanation of word-for-word.
Two examples might help here. First, when we read “and they crucified Him” there’s not one shred of evidence of what that brutally despicable act entails. None.
Second, you frequently run across a church person who declares one can never get divorced or remarried for anything but adultery based on Jesus’ brief teaching to the Pharisee’s “for any reason” question. They fail to seek and understand the fact that only one small passage in the entire Bible deals with martial vows, neglect as abuse, and the certificate of divorce for that situation too! And that’s in Exodus 21 as God gives His commands to the new nation of Israel at Sinai.
Some well intention saints also declare that adding to the Word as admonished in Revelation 22.18 constitutes heresy, and that those plagues will be added to him. “Adding” in that case is not a new descriptive translation such as NALT, but some pollution to the real gospel of Jesus Christ!
Besides, the majority of living souls today on our planet do not read or choose not to read! Over 4,000,000,000 (billion) people are oral learners and fully function through oral story telling. Many of these are zealous for Christ and His kingdom. In many cross cultural missionary situations, the written Bible has stymied spiritual growth, and not helped.
We praise God and thank translators for our written Bibles throughout the ages. But we must remember millions of people never had a “Bible” before (and after) the Bible was written and translated including Adam, Eve, Noah, and Abraham. And they were saved by grace and lived holy lives as are we.
Enjoy this new NALT translation, and let us know your experiences with it, as well as corrections and additions to help all who read it. To the Ancient of Days be the glory for now and forevermore!
The links below are divided into Old Testament, New Testament, and the Introduction. For easy reference, the NALT books are numbered by the book number in the Bible and followed by the chapter number. For example, NALT 23-10 represents book 23, Isaiah, and chapter 10 in that book.
